Cycling Safari & Blue Lava (4D3N)
Have your eyes open! Spotting wildlife while cycling through nature is a unique experience. And with luck on our side, we’ll get to see herds of buffalos, deer, monkeys, hornbills, peacocks, and other endemic birds.
At midnight brace yourself for a steep climb, as we’ll witness a natural wonder that only exists in two places in the world. Once the sun rises and the blue lake becomes visible, you forget all the hardships you had going up.
Before going home, visiting a hidden gem is a must. We’ll take you through a jungle path that leads to a hidden waterfall. Time to cool down after all those adrenaline adventures!
Day 1:
• Transport to East Java (11h overnight train from Yogyakarta)
Day 2:
• In the morning have a rest in our hotel
• Afternoon safari cycling in the national park
• Exclusive dinner at the beach
Day 3:
• At midnight go to Ijen Volcano (car or minibus depending on the group size) and witness one of the natural wonders of this world. Our approach is different than other operators. We give you the full experience and show you the places in a unique way. We go the extra mile for our guests!
• Go back to our hotel and have a rest (car or minibus)
• Refreshing waterfall visit in combination with a jungle walk.
Day 4:
• Go back to Yogyakarta or cross to Bali
• Transport is most comfortable by overnight train but can also be by car or minibus upon request (takes longer)
• We recommend crossing to Bali (~6 hours to Denpasar) after our experience and continuing your travels there if you have the time
• If you don’t return to Yogyakarta but choose to continue to Bali instead, the transport will be different
