Indonesia is a dream for spotting endemics, and even around the city of Yogyakarta we can see several endemic species. Because the city has mountains, beaches, and lowland forests the biodiversity and ecosystems are really worth a visit. In one day we can only visit a few places which might suit some people. But if you are a dedicated birder or photographer and want to see all Yogyakarta has to offer we suggest a multiple day trip.
• Yogyakarta hotel pickup 6 am
• 1,5 hour drive to the first forest area
• Have a coffee and some snacks before we go search for birds and explore the different hides/areas

• Afternoon session in another area walking more or settle in one of the hides to get really close pictures/views
